    Summary

    The Storekeeper is to attend to our internal customers while supporting the Inventory team to maintain inventory accuracy levels, ensure accurate data entry and overall integrity of the operation.

    What you will be doing:

    • Stocking shelves
    • Tracking parts with low inventory levels in the logbook
    • Issuing parts over the counter
    • Assisting in Stock taking (cycle counts)
    • Receiving of goods and restocking
    • Assisting with outgoing shipments
    • Follow up on parts for service calls
    • Ensure that all items issued from stores are requested on a company requisition form signed by the authorised personnel
    • Cleaning of stores and work area
    • Familiarise yourself with the company policies and procedures
    • Data entry of daily requisitions
    • Any additional duties may be assigned when and where needed by your Line Manager.

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Proficient in computer skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs is required
    • Proven customer service skills
    • A good understanding of storeroom operations
    • Ideally experience in the boat spars market
    • Familiarity with cycle counts is preferred
    • Must maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company rules, regulations, and procedures.
