We are looking to hire a CRM Email Marketing Specialist to join our team! Reporting to the Senior Customer Marketing Manager, you'll optimize and personalize data-driven communications. You will work closely with cross-functional departments, including the Global Sales Team, Global Marketing Teams, Sales Operations, Customer Care and Overseas Operations.

What you’ll do
Optimise our customer journey program across our global markets, including welcome, champion, in-market, repeats, welcome-home, win-back and loyalty campaigns, to ensure that all contacts have a positive experience of the brand, feel championed, informed and confident to progress along the customer journey to the point of booking.
Handle the day-to-day operations of email marketing sends, including building emails; compiling and crafting copy and content; setting up segment variants, utilising dynamic content tools to create personalized email experiences based on customer preferences and ensuring timely deployment.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure consistency and impact, developing and refining product content as well as rich-lifestyle content and ensuring relevant offers remain up to date.
Lead the success of the customer journeys and how they interact, ensuring clear mapping and wider documentation of the workflows, integrations, moments of truth etc.
Supervise the performance of email campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.
Adjust and optimize ongoing campaigns based on performance data and feedback from the Senior CMM.
Deploy a continuous test-measure-learn program to optimize the impact of your activity
Seek ways to enhance and improve our repeat marketing, identifying new segments, tactics and channels beyond email and direct mail
Provide ad-hoc support on in-market/newsletter email campaigns as and when required.
What you’ll bring
Shown track-record in high-impact email & direct mail deployment
A good shown understanding of HubSpot or similar email and automation platforms
A record of success in improving customer engagement, response rates and repeat bookings or sales in previous roles
Ability to demonstrate use of strong copywriting and content management to build compelling emails and Direct mails
Strong understanding of customer insights; segmentation & database analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong marketing copywriting skills
Strong reporting skills including knowledge of web analytical tools e.g. Google Analytics
Knowledge of third-party tools including TripAdvisor, Feefo, Qualtrics, Power BI
A growth mindset, and a commitment to taking personal responsibility and collaborating seamlessly in a distributed team
University degree or equivalent experience
Interest in sailing and experience working in travel or hospitality is a plus
Additional Details
This is a full-time position defined on a hybrid-basis, with hub office in Cape Town, South Africa.
The role will require very occasional travel as necessary to operational bases and our other corporate offices locating predominantly in the US or Europe.
