What You’ll Do:
Own all South African statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance, including VAT filings and transfer pricing
Maintain up-to-date contracts and Exchange Control agreements for intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly intercompany recharges, invoices, reconciliations, and settlement proposals
Ensure compliance with SARS and Reserve Bank requirements, including accurate transaction documentation (e.g., SAD 500s)
Liaise with local advisors for annual transfer pricing filings and audits
Prepare trial balances and support external audits, particularly on intercompany matters
Ensure accurate application of the global transfer pricing policy
Coordinate local stock management and support other finance-related tasks as needed
What You’ll Bring:
Qualified Accountant with of hands-on accounting experience
Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing financial documents
Proven knowledge of IFRS, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency transactions
Familiarity with SARS (South African tax), VAT returns, and Reserve Bank regulations
Experience in stock management, including global inventory handling
Proficient in Excel (sophisticated skills required); Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
Experience with SAP or Dynamics is a bonus, not crucial
Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional personality
High attention to detail and ability to work independently across all levels
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Travel or Marine industries is an advantage
