We’re looking to hire a Business Development Operations Specialist to join our team! Reporting to our Director of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll be an important part of our Business Development team, helping connect the dots between our Travel Advisors, partners, and internal teams. You’ll play a hands-on role in coordinating partner marketing activities, events, and trainings, supporting HubSpot and other team systems, and making sure new Travel Advisors have a smooth and engaging start with Europe Express. You’ll also help answer questions, identify opportunities to improve the advisor’s experience, and keep things moving when different teams need to work together. It’s a varied role that combines organization, communication, relationship building, and commercial support and one where your ability to make things easier for both our partners and our team will have a real impact.

What you’ll do:

Event and Partner Marketing Coordination

• Own and maintain the Business Development calendar, including consortia and host agency marketing activities, events, trainings, and webinars.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and internal responsibilities with Marketing, Business Development, and external partners.
• Track campaign completion, participation, leads, and other available performance indicators.
• Support pre-event preparation, event hosting, and post-event surveys and follow-up.

HubSpot and Talkdesk Operations

• Serve as the first point of contact for routine HubSpot and Talkdesk questions and support needs within the Business Development team.
• Support reporting on Business Development activity, Travel Advisor engagement, onboarding, event follow-up, and pipeline development.
• Create and maintain basic process guides, templates, and best-practice documentation.

New Travel Advisor Onboarding and Engagement

• Own the registration and onboarding experience for new-to-Europe Express Travel Advisors.
• Conduct proactive follow-up to encourage early engagement, participation in training, and submission of a first quote.
• Identify patterns in Travel Advisor questions and onboarding challenges and recommend improvements.

Customer Experience Screening and Triage

• Serve as an initial point of contact for Travel Advisor questions, concerns, and customer experience issues received through designated Business Development channels.
• Gather the information needed to understand each issue, assess urgency, and route it to the appropriate internal team.
• Identify recurring themes and share actionable feedback with Business Development and Customer Experience leadership.

General Team Support

• Provide occasional outbound support, including Travel Advisor prospecting, event follow-up, re-engagement, and other targeted sourcing initiatives.
• Respond to or assist with inbound Travel Advisor calls during peak periods or when additional coverage is needed.
• Represent Europe Express at selected trade shows, conferences, partner meetings, and Travel Advisor events.

What you’ll bring:

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, team or executive assistance, administration, business coordination, account management, sales, marketing, or a related field. Internships count.
• Experience working with a CRM or sales platform; HubSpot is a plus.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach to work.
• Comfortable working with business data, including pulling or exporting reports, maintaining accurate information, and identifying trends.
• Comfortable conducting both inbound and outbound phone conversations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated judgment when assessing urgency, handling sensitive issues, and determining the appropriate escalation path.
• Positive, collaborative approach to work, with a willingness to lead by example, take ownership, and go above and beyond when needed.
• Travel industry experience is a plus, but a strong interest in customer experience, relationship building, and supporting others is essential.
