    Role Overview:

    The Yachts Marine Technician will interact with all yachts presented for repair either in Freeport, Nassau, or Abacos. The Yachts Marine Technician in conjunction with the Yachts Project Lead is responsible for ensuring all systems of the yachts are operational pre hand over to the owner. The role requires a suitable repair of failed systems to industry standards. Good digital documentation of all aspects of this process is required. This is a hands-on role and will require some irregular hours of operation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Appropriately troubleshoot, diagnose, & repair various boat systems (power & sail) in a timely manner. Including but not limited to
      • Plumbing
      • Mechanical Systems
      • Electrical Systems
      • HVAC Systems
      • Fit & finish issues
    • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in marine maintenance.
    • Handle multiple work orders and utilize computer/mobile systems to document work that has been performed
    • Work with project lead and resolve projects and tasks as they develop
    • Always maintain a clean working environment
    • Always maintain standards to ensure compliance   
    • Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to without exception, and any issues raised with line management immediately.
    • Ability to utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, and data systems an advantage
    • Ensure a friendly and helpful attitude is maintained among the team and other departments and ensures the same is provided to all customers and business partners.
    • Other duties as reasonably requested by Management

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5 + years’ experience professional work on yachts.
    • Electrical Diploma
    • Technical Diploma
    • Valid driver license
    • Digital literacy
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
    • Good attention to detail

    • A Self-starter and capable of working unsupervised
