    The Role

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Flights & Reservations Manager to lead and develop a team of 12 flight and reservations professionals, while driving operational excellence and supporting our journey towards AI‑enabled flight booking and travel operations.

    This is a hands‑on leadership role that blends people management, operations, analytics, and change leadership. You will work closely with senior stakeholders (including Griselda) and global teams, including the US, to ensure resilient, high‑quality service delivery in a fast‑moving travel environment.

    What You’ll Do

    People & Performance Leadership

    • Lead, coach, and develop a medium‑sized operations team (~12) with a strong focus on performance, engagement, and capability building
    • Act as a strong leader and coach, supporting career growth and building future leaders within the team
    • Set clear performance standards, run regular reviews, and address issues proactively
    • Build a culture of accountability, openness, flexibility, and continuous improvement

    Flight Operations & GDS Expertise

    • Oversee end‑to‑end flight and reservations operations, including booking, ticketing, re‑issues, cancellations, and supplier coordination
    • Work extensively with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and complex airline processes
    • Ensure service quality, cost control, and margin protection across all bookings
    • Manage crisis situations (e.g. flight disruptions, geopolitical issues such as Iran‑related crises) with confidence and a guest‑first mindset

    AI, Transformation & Ways of Working

    • Actively contribute to Enchanting Travels’ AI and automation journey within flights and reservations
    • Partner with Product, Tech, and Operations to redesign processes and adopt AI‑enabled tools
    • Bring energy and curiosity to finding smarter ways of doing the job, using technology and data to improve outcomes
    • Help the team embrace change and new ways of working

    Stakeholder & Global Collaboration

    • Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Product, Finance, and Technology
    • Collaborate with US‑based stakeholders, requiring flexibility to work some evening hours
    • Provide clear insights, reporting, and recommendations to senior leadership

    Data, Analysis & Reporting

    • Use Excel and operational analysis to track KPIs, productivity, quality, and costs
    • Drive decisions using data and structured problem‑solving

    What you’ll bring:

    • Handson experience in travel / flight / operations roles
    • Strong background in flight operations, reservations, and GDS environments
    • Proven experience managing a medium‑sized operations team with hands‑on people leadership
    • Comfortable handling performance management, crisis cover, and weekend work when required (with time off provided during the week)
    • Strong analytical skills with high comfort using Excel and operational reporting
    • Excited about AI, automation, and transforming traditional operations
    • Open, flexible, and adaptable working style.
    • Working hours: Standard 8‑hour shift; flexibility required for evening collaboration with US teams.
    • Location: Remote – anywhere in India
    • Weekend work: Required during major operational crises (time off provided during the week)
