    We are currently seeking a Marine Technician to join our team in Nassau. This is a full-time role with variable working hours, requiring flexibility to meet operational demands.

    Please note this is a full-time position. However, during the off-peak season when the Nassau base is closed, flexibility is required to temporarily relocate to another base to support technical operations. The assigned base may vary each year based on operational and business needs..

    What you will be doing:

    • Completing turnaround service checks, yacht preparation
    • Briefing of clients on yachts mechanical systems and safety equipment
    • Maintenance and repairs to all yachts and yacht equipment/technology
    • Proactive and preventative daily maintenance, checks and repairs
    • Engine and generators servicing such as oil and filter checks/changes
    • Rigging, sails and deck hardware check and maintenance
    • Will be required to climb mast to conduct repairs as needed
    • Maintenance of outboards for tenders
    • Emergency call outs for breakdowns on any of the fleet
    • Ensuring the safety of all clients including safety briefings
    • Assisting clients with queries and problems
    • Assisting with the general running of the base
    • Any other duties as directed by the Operation Manager

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Experience maintaining diesel engines and 2 & 4 stroke outboard engines
    • Working knowledge of 12V DC and110–220AC electrical systems and yacht plumbing systems
    • Experience with marine refrigeration and air conditioning systems
    • Familiarity with watermaker installation, maintenance, and repair
    • Experience working with marine electronics, including Raymarine and B&G systems
    • Knowledge of external rigging, running rigging and sail and deck hardware
    • Practically minded with an ability to solve problems
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Experience in a customer focused environment
    • Sociable and positive personality
    • A strong team mate
    • Yacht sailing experience is desirable but not essential
