    We’re excited to welcome a People Partner to our global team! Reporting to the VP People, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver people plans that fuel engagement, develop talent, and accelerate business performance across our worldwide teams. In this pivotal role, you’ll champion high‑impact people initiatives and strengthen leadership capability to achieve meaningful, sustainable success.

    This is a hybrid role working 6-8 days per month in our Century City, Cape Town office.

    What you will be doing:

    • Partner with Executive team members to create and implement people plans that drive employee engagement and achievement of business objectives.
    • Work with the broader Travelopia People team to deliver cross-business unit people initiatives.
    • Build people management capability for the business areas by coaching, challenging and influencing senior leaders across corporate functions and operational teams.
    • Driving employee engagement, leading annual engagement survey for your client groups to drive increased completion rates year on year.
    • Create engagement action plans with management teams that drive increased engagement.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to attract, develop and retain talent.
    • Support talent management initiatives to develop and retain high performers and high-potential employees in the business to meet future capability requirements.
    • Lead change programmes to ensure the ROI of business case are maximised and realised through effective embedding of change.
    • Support with the implementation of the overall Reward strategy for Yachts and lead the annual review process.
    • Lead implementation of HR systems across the client group to increase controls along with people data accuracy and visibility.
    • Create and roll out people policies and handbooks to the global team.
    • Effectively manage employee relations cases to ensure swift resolution.
    • Manage and develop the small team of two direct reports

    What you’ll bring:

    • Proven experience in an operational HR Business Partner role (ideally a background partnering with global teams or overseeing multi-site staffing structures)
    • CIPD qualified (or equivalent HR accreditation)
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
    • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, able to manage multiple demands.
    • Confident decision‑maker, able to work under pressure and make sound judgments with incomplete information.
    • Collaborative working style with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
    • Pragmatic and solution-focused approach to people challenges.
    • Genuine passion for the travel industry.
