Overview
Main duties will centre around the yachts, the customers, and the base. Working hours vary and you must be able to cover operational requirements including early and evening shifts as the need arises. The weekends are the busiest days at base and will be working days, from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Days off will be scheduled mid-week.
Our exterior yacht cleaning teams play a vital role in our business. Being a key driver in providing that “wow” factor when customers first step on board their vessel. It will be your responsibility to deliver cleaning excellence to ensure the outside of our yachts meets the standard that gives our guests that 5-star first impression.
What you will be doing
- Carrying out a full clean of the yacht from the bridge deck to engine bays, including a rinse, soap wash, and chamois, followed by detailing of the yacht.
- Ensuring the yachts are presentable to the highest standards set by the company, which will include; Scrubbing and buffing the exterior of the yachts daily.
- Cleaning of shower curtains, rails, external cushions, and bilges.
- Cleaning and detailing of all lockers (gas, anchor, and water locker), cleaning inside and all rims and outside edges.
- Cleaning and detailing of the helm station including winch handle pockets, and cup holders.
- Cleaning all rubbing strakes and making sure all exhaust outlets are spotless.
- Reporting any defects noticed whilst cleaning to the technical manager.
- Applying chemicals in a safe and efficient way.
- Suggesting improvements for cleaning techniques.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager, including supporting with other departments, and cleaning of other areas.
