We are looking to hire a BVI Finance Manager to join our team! Reporting to our Yachts Finance Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing effective financial partnering for the BVI Base, including the BVI Resort and Crewed Yachts operations.
The role will lead a team of 3–4 finance staff, ensuring the integrity of financial results while supporting continuous improvement across BVI operations. Key skills include financial excellence, team management and development, the ability to deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to driving efficiencies and process improvements.

What you’ll do:
Month-End Reporting & Financial Control
Lead and deliver the month-end close for the BVI, ensuring adherence to group timelines and standards
Prepare and review P&L and balance sheet results, providing clear variance analysis and commentary
Ensure all journal entries, accruals, and adjustments are appropriately supported and compliant
Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Support internal and external audit requirements
Balance Sheet Control
Ensure timely completion and review of all balance sheet reconciliations (including inventory, accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany, and fixed assets)
Investigate and resolve reconciling items, maintaining strong financial controls
Ensure compliance with group standards and drive improvements in reconciliation quality and documentation
Forecasting, Budgeting & Analysis
Support monthly forecasting in partnership with the Finance Business Partner and operational teams
Provide analytical insight and scenario modelling to support decision-making
Support annual budgeting and long-term planning
Analyse key cost drivers across operations, including crewed yachts, staffing, and base overheads
Payroll & People Costs
Oversee payroll in collaboration with local payroll and HR teams
Validate overtime, holiday pay, and allowances to ensure accuracy and policy alignment
Prepare and review payroll reconciliations in line with group standards
Cash & Treasury Management
Maintain strong controls over cash handling, petty cash, and on-site transactions across resort and yacht operations
BVI Resort Finance Support
Support financial performance across the BVI Resort, including revenue, cost control, and margin analysis
Partner with operational leaders to ensure accurate reporting and commercial oversight
Monitor key metrics such as payroll, F&B spend, provisioning, maintenance costs, and occupancy
Continuous Process Improvement
Identify and implement improvements across financial processes, reporting, and systems
Strengthen local finance capability and embed best practices across controls and workflows
Support finance transformation initiatives, including optimisation of SAP processes
Systems Ownership
Act as the local SAP expert, ensuring effective use of finance systems and processes
Support forecasting tools (e.g. TM1) and ensure data accuracy
Provide training and guidance to finance and operational teams
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
Set clear objectives, manage performance, and ensure high-quality output
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with the BVI Base Manager and operational leaders to provide financial insight and challenge
Collaborate with HR, procurement, and central finance teams
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
What you’ll bring:
Qualified Accountant preferred (ACCA / CIMA / CPA or equivalent)
Extensive experience in financial management, accounting, or business partnering roles
Strong month-end, forecasting, and financial control expertise
Confident user of SAP or similar ERP systems
Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a hands-on environment
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions
High attention to detail, combined with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to see the bigger picture
