    Position: Seasonal Cleaner 
    Location: Smiths Falls marina, Ontario - Canada
    Department:  Operations
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract type: 0 hours Seasonal until end of September
    Working hours and days: flexible 8 hours a day, 5 days per week - depending on departures and no of bookings
    Line Manager: Head Cleaner and Base Manager
     

    About the role:

    Our base teams are instrumental in delivering our amazing holidays and are why many of our customers return year on year. Our cleaning team ensure that the interior of our fleet is kept clean and hygienic and play a vital part in ensuring our customers have an excellent first impression when they board their boat! This is an extremely fast paced role that requires a dedicated and methodical approach along with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 

    What you will be doing

    • Responsible for the interior cleaning & sanitizing of our fleet as per our company standards.
    • Ensure our customers have an excellent first impression when they board their boat.
    • Provisioning the boats with necessary supplies prior to the customer’s departure.
    • Supporting in the pre and post season preparation tasks essential for getting our boats ready for customers and winter maintenance.
    • Provide feedback via the relevant channel of any defects or issues noticed onboard our fleet.
    • Maintain an organized store room (including for laundry).

    • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
    • Have a methodical and meticulous approach to work.
    • Excellent attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Highly organised and responsive to competing demands.
    • Able to communicate information to colleagues in a clear and timely manner.
    • Work effectively both within a team and have the initiative to work independently.
    • Comfortable working in small spaces.
    • Able to work a flexible week (weekends and holidays)
