Sunsail is recruiting base technicians based in Greece and Croatia to work in the Mediterranean for the Summer. Full-season roles are available, and following successful summer placements, winter opportunities may be available.
Primary duties will centre around the yachts, the base, and ports of call. Working hours vary, and you MUST be flexible to operational requirements. You are required at times to assist with flotilla duties. At the beginning and end of the season, you may be asked to carry out fleet re-fit/lay-up. The yachts are prepared for the upcoming season or furloughed for winter during these periods. It includes painting, cleaning, repairs, and anything else required to prepare the yacht for the season or placed under furlough.
What you will be doing
Completing turnaround service checks, yacht preparation, and deck washing.
Briefing clients on the yacht's systems and safety equipment.
Maintenance and repairs to yacht equipment.
Proactive and preventative daily maintenance checks and repairs.
Engine servicing, oil, and filter checks/changes.
Maintenance of outboards for tenders.
Emergency callouts for breakdowns on any of the fleet.
Ensuring the safety of all clients, including safety briefings.
